Tis the season for thieving! The Better Business Bureau is warning people about scams this holiday season. Fake text-based scams in which scammers are sending customers phony tracking numbers or links. Giving you fake tracking numbers, they’re giving you a link to click in a text message.
Melanie McGovern of the BBB said never click on a link that appears suspicious, as it could be coming from someone trying to take your personal information.
