Woman Attacked By Pit Bull On Rockview Terrace

A 33 year old woman is in stable but critical condition Wednesday morning after she was attacked and mauled by a pit bull on Rockview Terrace.
According to WHEC.com police officers shot and killed the dog on scene to save the woman from the pit bull.
A bystander was struck by a projectile after the officers fired their weapons but it ia not know at this time what the projectile was. The indiviual was taken to the hospital for treatment and is in guarded but stable condition.
Police shutdown Rockview Terrace for several hours. Police are still investigating.
