Wegmans Employees Can Now Go Maskless

It seems as though life is slowly going back to the pre-pandemic days. Wegmans announced a new update for Wegmans employees that allows for their workers to go maskless at work if they choose to do so. However, this does not apply if masks are mandated at the state or local level. Employees and shoppers are now both allowed to be maskless if they would like. Last month, Wegmans had dropped the mask mandate for customers after Governor Kathy Hochul ended the indoor mask mandate for businesses. Wegmans operates 106 stores across seven states, with New York having the most stores.
