This courageous man saved many lives but doesn’t want to be recognized as a hero.
James Shaw Jr. ended a deadly attack at a Tennesee Waffle House with his bear hands. The shooter opened fire early Sunday morning killing 4 people.

The moment the shooter stopped, Shaw ambushed him and wrestled him to the ground disarming the shooter, throwing his gun across the room. Shaw denied that he was a hero.
The shooter wasn’t arrested until after 1 p.m. in a wooded area near his apartment, according to police. He was booked into Metro jail Monday night and will appear in court tomorrow.
