The presidential portraits of Barack and Michelle Obama are bold, fascinating, powerful, masculine, feminine, and magical!
Two famous black artist are making history by becoming the first black painters to receive the presidential portrait commission from the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.
Amy Sherald and Kehinde Wiley are the artist who painted the former President and First Lady.
Sherald painted the breathtakingly beautiful portrait of Michelle Obama and Wiley painted the fearless, and gallant portrait of Barack Obama.
Think I’ll be making a trip very soon to experience these portraits in person… Wow!
