Wisconsin Man Confesses To Kidnapping 13 Year Old And Killing Both Parents

I’m so glad they found this girl alive this has to be one of the most insane and scary stories I’ve come across in a long time.

Jayme Closs, the 13 year old, that went missing last year after both her parents were shot to death in Wisconsin escaped her abductor after he held her prisoner for 88 days in his home. He hid her at time under his bed for up to 12 hours.

The crazy part of this whole thing is why he took her. The man that took Jayme and killed her both her parents while they where all in the home is because he wanted her.  Continue reading Wisconsin Man Confesses To Kidnapping 13 Year Old And Killing Both Parents

This past weekend the Lifetime Docuseries Surviving R. Kelly had millions people including some of his peers, other artist, and entertainers in the music industry sounding off on social media.

I lot of artists, song writers, producers, record execs, etc are very confused as to how to respond to what they’ve seen and heard. We’ve all been inspired by this man. We’ve all been witnesses to his musical genius. We have shaped and molded talent we sign after his musical image. We’ve invested so much of ourselves into this man that it’s hard for us to let go. I no longer have that issue. I whole heartedly apologize for not coming to this realization sooner. I CANOT separate the music from the monster! My 3 black daughters won’t let me. What hurts even more are the facilitators around him. His team, his record company, the promoters, the radio stations! There has to be a line drawn. Enough has to be enough at some point. Who are we saying is worth protecting if we let this continue? I choose the lives of these young black girls! I’m sick to my stomach! Let me also say this! There are more men guilty of these crimes! Lets make sure none of them slip through the cracks every again! You are no king because kings don’t treat queens like this! #RnBMoney #TheGeneral

However, we would like to hear your thoughts and opinions on the Wake Up Club Monday morning.

You will be able to call 222-1039 or text your comments to 678-1039.

There is a lot to discuss like mental abuse, sexual abuse both men and women, how to handle someone telling you a loved one is abusing them, how to help someone who is a victim of human trafficking plus sooooo much more.

This is the perfect time to have an open dialogue on how our community can/should handle situations like this or similar to what we viewed in the Lifetime docuseries better moving forward.

(we ask for thoughts only if you have watched the docuseries)

In the meantime here are some more posts from celebrities via Instagram.

The 116th Congress Is Historic, This Is America

Childish Gambino’s song This Is America should be the theme song for the 116th Congress.

You can NOT tell me voting doesn’t make a difference after today.

This night is historically beautiful.

Nancy Pelosi, the first woman to become Speaker of The United States House of Representatives back in 2007, reclaimed her gavel as Speaker.

There are now more than 100 women in congress, and new generations of African-American’s,  Muslims, Native-Americans, and Latinos making this 116th Congress the most diverse EVER.

A reflection of America today.

If you don’t think your vote matters, think again!

Watch the clip and look at the tweets… This Is America.

I can’t tell you how completely frustrated and disappointed I am with Rochester Gas & Electric Company.

The sad part is they are right.

What other options do we have besides having the service turned off and going without??    Continue reading Rochester Gas And Electric Customer Frustration Changes Are Needed
