Walmart Is Rolling Back Its Mask Mandate

Earlier this month, Walmart announced that it would require all of its customers to to wear face coverings to help stop the spread of COVID-19, unless they had a medical condition that made it impossible to do so.
The multi billion dollar company is now revisiting the July 20 Mandate because its employees are afraid of being attacked by customers that don’t agree with the policy.
Employees are being trained not to confront customers refusing to wear face coverings an are instructed to let them continue shopping.
Walmart spokeswoman Delia Garcia told released a statement, saying:
“We know there may be situations that may not make it possible for everyone to wear a face covering. Our goal is to keep associates from a physical confrontation situation, and our ambassadors will be trained on those exceptions to help reduce friction for the shopper.”
