Taylor Swift opened the show.
I just.. you know what? Good for her for using her platform to advocate for the LGBT community. It’s just something about her that doesn’t seem authentic, maybe it’s just me… Whenever she performs I’m just bored.. well you watch it tell me what you think:
Then came our host of the night comedian, Sebastian Maniscalco (who?).
I didn’t get his comedy at all. Did you laugh at anything he said? Yeah me neither. All he did was talk ish about millennials to an audience of millennials..
Lizzo picked up the pace
Just as I was about to change the channel my fav, Lizzo hit the stage!

I love, love, lovedd her performance! From the big ol inflatable booty to the background dancers and singers! Ugh yes it was fun and colorful. I stan! I just wish she sang “Soulmate” or “Cuz I Love You,” those are my favorite from the album!
Missy Elliot, Status : Legend
The recipient of the Vanguard Award was justifiably awarded to Missy Elliot this year. DO you even have to ask? Of course she killed it – it’s Missy! Just watch for yourself:

Normani danced her ass off
I love Normani! This is a pop star I can stand by but I wasn’t thrilled about the performance. I guess “Motivation,” for me, just isn’t a mind blowing performance song. The video was dope but live it was kind of long winded.
