Oscar winning actress Viola Davis is back and fiercer than ever in her new movie “The Woman King”!
General Nansica, played by Davis, leads a fearless all-female African army into battle against European invaders.
The trailer, which dropped this week, is giving Black Panther vibes but the story is actually inspired by true events that took place in the West African Kingdom of Dahomey, one of the most powerful states of Africa in the 18th and 19th centuries.
The Woman King hits theatres September 16th 2022.
