Tyler Perry donated at least 5,000 meals to families in need before the Thanksgiving holiday. The giveaway took place at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta on Sunday. Reports say that cars were lined up for miles. The gifted items included boxes of food and Kroger gift cards. Perry personally funded the event, and studio employees donated their time to volunteer and hand out all of the goods.
