The CHI And Straight Outta Compton Actor Jason Mitchell Arrested For Guns And Drugs

Actor Jason Mitchell was arrested for guns and drugs in Mississippi during a traffic stop. Jason played Eazy-E in the biopic Straight Outta Compton and Brandon on the hit Showtime series The Chi.
Police arrested and charged the actor with two pounds of weed and 1,300 doses of ecstasy. The drugs were in packages like he was going to sell them, according to TMZ.
Mississppi police said they pulled the actor over in a GMC Yukon. That’s when they found the drugs and guns – a Glock 19 pistol, and a mini Draco AK47 semi-automatic pistol.
The actor was booked in Harrison County Jail on Wednesday and is facing four felony charges. In a statement released by his rep it was a misunderstanding and Jason is home and working on “amazing new projects” according
Regarding Jason’s arrest, no other information has been released.
