Tech Tea: Amazon’s Prime Air Makes It’s First Delivery By Drone

On December 7th Amazon Prime Air said made it’s first official delivery by drone in less than 30 minutes! How exciting is that?!
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos tweeted last week they successfully completed it’s first drone delivery. Although this happened in England I’m sure it will be in the states very soon.
The package was delivered in 13 minutes after the order was placed to the customer near Cambridge, UK, which was a Amazon Fire Stick and a bag of popcorn.
For now there are only two customers participating in the drone trial with Amazon. About a dozen more customers who live within trial range of the Prime Air facility are expected to participate until the trial is complete.
Amazon is promising delivery within 30 minutes with drones.
