Summer of Opportunity and Youth Employment Programs

Written by on February 24, 2016

The Summer of Opportunity Program (SOOP) is an employment and training program for youth ages 14-20 and who are still in high school.  The program is designed to provide training and employment opportunities to youth while making a direct connection to success in school.

The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is a government funded program, operated by RochesterWorks! in collaboration with the City of Rochester’s Operation Transformation Rochester (OTR) Summer of Opportunity Program (SOOP), that provides youth with six weeks of paid work experience through work sites and programs all across Monroe County.

Kids can now submit applications for both programs

Spots are limited so as soon as they can, they should apply
