South Korea New Law Will Make Citizens A Year Younger

December 9, 2022

We know other countries have different systems in place in order to run things. In South Korea there’s going to be some changes in law coming soon.

When a person is born there they are already one years old instead of waiting 12 months. The new bill passed by the National Assembly will now make everyone in South Korea a year younger.

The system will be going to the world’s standards when counting a person’s age in June.

One of the reasons for the change is to prevent confusion in processing administrative and medical service according to the country’s president.
