Soul Train Awards 2016

Last night the Soul Train Awards aired on VH1 and BET.
Erykah Badu hosted the show & killed it! 
Not only was the host great, but the performances were also fantastic.
They had performances from Dru Hill, Brandy, Anderson.Paak, D.R.A.M & Eyrkah Badu, Yuna, Carl Thomas, Eric Benet, and more.
Not to mention a stellar tribute performance from Teddy Riley!! Teddy brought out Tito Jackson, Bobby Brown, Doug E. Fresh, annnnd the other members of Guy came out for a reunion!
I completely forgot Teddy’s career encompassed so many timeless hits! I mean the man did create a whole subgenre of music (New Jack Swing) and discovered Pharrell – I don’t know how I could forget! He definitely deserved that award!
