Social Media Threat Made Toward Edison Tech HS

A juvenile, whose name has not been released due to age, and 36-year-old Tobie Gulley have been arrested due to a terrorist threat that was issued towards students at Edison Career & Technology High School. 

The juvenile is not a student at Edison Tech HS and is said to have issued the threat from their personal Snapchat account. The juvenile was charged with making a terrorist threat and Gulley was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. 

The threat reads, “-ya’ll finna hate me since I found my dad gun. I’m finna go shoot up Edison Tech high school tomorrow I have my plan already all you b****es get ready to die.”

The school increased security and has released the following statement, “Our districts Safety and Security along with the Rochester Police Department are in communication with all the families involved. The safety of your children at Edison is our first concern, and we are always working to ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff.”
