Long has the push-and-pull of money plagued producers and creators. Bobby Shmurda, coming off his single “They Don’t Know,” is the latest in a long line of musicians to rebuff their producers for wanting more money than the creator thinks they are worth. In an interview with Complex, Shmurda said that producers nickel and dime him for beats. Shurda looks to the future with hope now that he is out of his contract with Epic records. He plans on creating new music based on the darkness he felt when he was in prison.
