Reign’s Pick: Movie Releases And Trailers For February

There is a ton of content released each month across all of the streaming platforms. Some are free and some are not, that doesn’t even include what is released in movie theaters. With that said it can be a bit overwhelming to find something to watch, especially if you have a very busy schedule or are indecisive.

So here are some movies I’m thinking about checking out in February.

(Disclaimer) I’m not saying they are all going to be excellent movies but, they caught my interest in some way.

The first one is The Photograph opens in theaters February 14th.

Valentines Day is running up on us so if you are still looking for something to do with your partner or even take yourself on a solo date (which is awesome) then this may be an option. Issa Rae from the hit HBO series Insecure and LaKeith Stanfield from the critically acclaimed series Atlanta on FX star in this romantic drama.

The Photograph follows the estranged daughter of a famous photographer falling for a journalist sent to write a story on her late mother. From the trailer it gives me a current day Love Jones vibe.

The second movie that’s a definite for me is Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).

Plenty of action, mayhem, and Harley Quinn!

The aforementioned and a bucket of movie popcorn is all you really need to know about this one!

Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) opens in theaters February 7th.
