RCSD First Day Of School Pushed Back Until Thursday September 9th

Sunday evening the Rochester city school district board has approved to push the start day Back to September 9th.
The district is struggling to find 70 bus drivers to transport kids to and from school.
RTS is also in negotiations with helping out the city school district but details won’t be available until Tuesday afternoon.
Parents are also being asked to help out by transporting their children to school as well.
RCSD is holding and meeting Monday night at 6pm.
