RCSD Faces School Bus Driver Shortage Days Before The Stat Of The New School Year

With just just a few daysWith just a few days away the Rochester city school district will begain the 21-22 school year and it was just announced that there is a shortage of school bus drivers and the district is scrambling To find 70 school bus drivers.
Until this issue can be resolved the district is looking for alternatives to accommodate kids getting to school, one suggestion is asking parents or guardians if they can transport their child or children to school.
The RCSD board will hold an emergency matter Friday afternoon to address this issue.
This is one of the reasons why I am a favor of neighborhood schools.
