Rapper Troy Ave. Arrested For Irving Plaza Fatal Shooting

Rapper Troy Ave. has been arrested and is facing charges for attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon after the Wednesday night deadly shooting at Irving Plaza.

Troy Ave. was scheduled to perform at T.I.’s concert in New York City but ended up in an alleged altercation which led to the shooting that claimed the life of his friend and bodyguard Ronald McPhatter, 33. 

According to some reports Troy Ave. attempted to shoot at Maino after he performed and head back to the green room where he is seen on video surveillance shooting a gun. Maino released  statement saying he was not in any way involved.

Troy Ave. whose real name is Ronald Collins, was injured from shooting himself in the leg and injured two other people. Maggie Heckstall, 26, and 34-year-old Christopher Vinson, who was struck in the chest by a bullet that pierced the floor.

T.I. was not involved in the shooting.
