Prices of Key Household Items are on the Rise

If your grocery bill is higher than normal, it is probably because key household items have been rising in price by about 3.5% percent. This has been going on for about 12 months and includes products like cereal, dairy, meats and eggs.
Patrick Penfield, a Professor of Supply Chain Practices at Syracuse University, was quoted saying, “We had a suspicion that prices were going to go up. But I don’t think we realized how bad it was going to be.”
