Positive COVID-19 Cases At West Irondiquoit Central School District Trace Back To Basketball Program

According to officials at the West Irondiquoit Central School District, there have been positive cases of COVID-19 traced back to their basketball program.
They released a statement that said:
“As with any positive case in our district, we are working with and receiving guidance from the Monroe County Department of Public Health. That assistance pertains to contact tracing, individuals who should be isolating/quarantining and also COVID testing.”
Upcoming games have been put on hold and other teams that Irondequoit has played against recently have been notified.
