Petition To Change Rochester Airport To The Fredrick Douglass International Airport

There’s a petition going around to rename the Greater Rochester International Airport to the Frederick Douglass International Airport.
The petition was started by a local activist by the name of Richard Glaser.
As I’m writing this Blog the petition has over 1,600 signatures already the goal is for 2,500 and by the time you read this I’m sure more signatures will be signed.
Frederick Douglass lived in the Rochester area for several years during the 1800s.
