Van’s hero Darnell Wilson was recently recognized by local lawmakers for his quick actions to stop an attempted robber at People’s Choice Kitchen. We got the full story from Van herself, listen here.
At Tuesday night’s meeting, the Monroe county legislature honored Wilson for protecting the people inside the People’s Choice Kitchen the Monday before Christmas.
“I’m sorry I’m really at a loss for words, especially doing something I felt was the right thing to do. I don’t know what to say honestly but thank you, I appreciate it,” Wilson said.
