Utah Jazz Fan Permanently Banned From Arena

Shame, shame, shame you know your name. Or should I say Shane Keisel, the fan who was banned from the home of the Utah Jazz,  Vivint Smart Home Arena, after heckling Russell Westbrook.

At the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder game on Monday night, Keisel and his wife reportedly shouted “Get down on your knees like you used to,” to Westbrook as he left the arena. He and two other teammates, Patrick Patterson and Raymond Felton, interpreted the comment as racially charged, causing Westbrook’s profane outburst.

After an investigation into the incident the Utah Jazz released this statement:

Movie Review: Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel is the latest story introduced into the Marvel Studios catalogue. The story begins in the midst of an intergalactic alien war where we find Carol Danver/Vers, played by Brie Larson, in a battle against her enemies, her own friends, and even within herself.

The film takes on an era not yet seen in the Marvel Universe, set in the mid 1990s, and accurately captures the culture of the decade in the fashion, music, technology, and lingo. We were also blessed with an origin story of the famous Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, now featuring two eyes!

Carol Danvers’ journey to becoming the most powerful superhuman being in the universe was the central focus, and the film’s message was overwhelmingly empowering, showcasing strong women as the saviors of the universe. A mood, indeed.

Not sure if premiering it on International Women’s Day (Friday, March 8, 2019) was purposeful, but hats off to Marvel on that one. Quirky humor, action packed, family friendly. Overall a great movie!

Wallace Wilson was born in St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica on January 17, 1978. Red Rat’s father was very involved with music, having been the guitarist for the band, Jimmy James and the Vagabonds and for Byron Lee & the Dragonaires in the 1970s and ‘80s, Red Rat had naturally taken the stage by the age of four. He began singing in the Jamaica’s tourist/hospitality circuit and, by age 12, he and his brother’s band released his first single, ‘Can’t Live Without You’.
