Oscar Winner To Play Michelle Obama On Showtime’s “The First Ladies”

We’re about to see Michelle Obama in The White House again!

No sorry, she’s not running for president. Actually, full disclosure, Michelle Obama won’t be the real Michelle Obama. Oscar winner, Viola Davis, will be playing Michelle Obama in Showtime’s “First Ladies”.

The drama series with focus on the political and personal lives of a few First Ladies. Along with “Our First Lady” Michelle Obama, the show will also feature Betty Ford and Eleanor Roosevelt.

Davis will also add executive producer to her credits on this new project – which makes perfect sense. Also let’s be honest, Viola Davis is on the shortest list of actresses that could have played the role of Michelle Obama. To me she’s the perfect choice.
