NYPD Is Testing A Robocop Dog

We remember that movie from the eighties Robocop Well in 2021 The NYPD just deployed their new robotic dog To a home invasion crime scene in New York City.
The robotic “Digidog” is in it’s testing stage weighing ways 70 pounds and it runs about three and a half miles per hour, The robotic dog is also equipped with lights and cameras to allow cops to see it’s surrounding areas and also has two communications.
My question is next will they have robotic police officers in the near future?
