North Carolina School District Is Placing Semi Automatic Riffles For Resource Officers

A North Carolina school district is using a new security measure for the new school year.
School officials and the sheriff’s office are teaming together and placing semi automatic rifles in each one of their county’s 6 schools for resource officers to use in case of an active shooter.
This comes after the tragedy in Uvalde Texas where 19 children were killed in a school mass shooting.
