Toosi the rapper is riding the wave of popularity ever since Drake’s ‘Toosie Slide’ took over TikTok and the airwaves.
But truth be told, the rapper was not the inspiration for the viral song and dance.
North Carolina rapper King Toosii has come a long way from uploading songs online to signing on with the label that helped DaBaby break through worldwide. He grew up in Syracuse but moved to Raleigh, NC when he began taking music more seriously in 2017.
His single “Truth be told” is New at 2 on 103.9 WDKX and the video already has 10 million views on YouTube.
Toosie the TikTok influencer is actually the person who made the chorography and is the namesake for Drake’s Toosie Slide.

But Toosi the rapper still took advantage of the moment and made his version of the song.
