When you think of Murder Inc, we think of Ja Rule, Irv Gotti and Ashanti. In 2021, the record label is reimagining the iconic trio with a new singer name Rikki. Could she be the new R&B Princess?
You’ve heard Rikki’s vocals on SNFJT’s hit single “On Me”.
This week, she graced WDKX #Newat2 with her first solo single “Heartbreaker”, and it’s giving me Ashanti Vibes!
Between the Ashanti-like voice, the Alicia Keys piano playing and the H.E.R. glasses, it looks Murder Inc has found a recipe for commercial R&B success for their new star!
