On Tuesday the New York State Senate unanimously passed Resolution No. 2690 honoring our beloved co-founder Mrs. Gloria Langston. Representative Demond Meeks of Rochester presented the measure, sponsored by Senator Cooney.

MOURNING the death of Gloria Langston, pioneer of
radio, prominent leader in media, admired
storyteller, and devoted member of her community

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
citizens of the State of New York whose lifework and civic endeavor
served to enhance the quality of life in their communities and this
great Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Gloria Langston of Rochester, New York, died on Friday, May
6, 2022, at the age of 97
