If you’re an expecting mother the city of Philadelphia may be the place you would want to give birth.
City officials announced they’re getting ready to launch a trial program that will give $1,000 to expecting Mothers that live in certain areas of the city.
The program will be called the “Philly Joy Bank” and is planning to kick off in early 2024.
The city wants to raise a total of $6 million dollars with $3 million already secured for the program and this would help 250 pregnant mothers.
