More States Have Joined The Ban Tik Tok List From Government Devices

Written by on January 12, 2023

It looks like the list for the Tik Tok ban in the United States is getting longer. Wisconsin and North Carolina have both been added to the list.

So now, just about half of the U.S. has banned the popular social media app on State owned devices. Tik Tok is pretty much banned by Congress on most of the government issued devices due to concerns about security. It is also banned on military devices.

The bipartisan concern is that the location, data, and other information of Americans could be used by the Chinese government. The other issue is they could push misinformation.

There will most likely be other states that will join in on the ban so we will keep you posted.
