Monroe County Winterfest Returns To Mendon Ponds

Yesterday, Monroe County held the annual Winterfest at Mendon Ponds. The event featured a Mercy Flight Helicopter demonstration, arts and crafts, hay rides, sledding, food trucks, performances by the campfire at Stewart Lodge, and more.
Mendon Ponds Park is the largest of Monroe County’s 22 parks, with 2,500 acres of woodlands, ponds, wetlands, and glacially created landforms, and is listed on the National Registry of Natural Landmarks.
