The Monroe County Public Health Department has now opened two booster covid shot clinics in Chili and downtown Rochester. The two locations are the Fleet Center and MCC’s downtown campus. Monrow County Public Health Planner Michael Sayers says that the county plans to open a clinic on the east side, one on the west side, and another in the city.
Michael Sayers spoke on the booster shots, stating: “It’s a mixed group, skewing toward the older population and above 65 so far. In the coming weeks, we expect it to expand to all the different groups eligible.”It has been a long haul. We’ve been vaccinating here since Dec. 28, all the way through today. We’re anticipating several more months of vaccinating.”
