Mo’Ne Davis Signs Copies of New Book & College Player Dropped After Cruel Tweet

March 23, 2015

Mo’Ne Davis is building her empire.  The Little League prodigy signed copies of her brand new book this weekend in Philly.  And don’t talk ish about the 13-year-old.  Or it’ll get you CUT & dismissed.

Yesterday, at the Barnes & Noble on Walnut Street in Philly, hometown hero Mo’Ne Davis signed copies of her new bookMo’ne Davis: Remember My Name: My Story From First Pitch To Game Changer. Plenty of kiddies and fans were on hand to cop her signature.

And that’s not all.  Disney recently confirmed the network has a Mo’Ne Davis biopic in the works.  And we’re itching to know who will play the first girl to earn a win and pitch a shutout in the Little League World Series.  Loves it.

But not everyone loves it.

Joey Casselberry, a junior first baseman at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania, sent out the disgusting above tweet a few days ago.  And the Twitterverse was NOT having it.

No one should call a 13-year-old girl a slut and gets away with it.   And he didn’t.

The AP News confirms Casselberry and his foul mouth has been formaly dismissed from his college baseball team due to the tweet.  the university stated they are “deeply saddened” by the player’s tweet.

Now, he can watch her continue to make sports history from the comfort of his couch.
