MICHAEL JACKSON: 10 YEARS

June 25, 2019 marks the 10 year anniversary of the death of the King of Pop. Michael Jackson died in his home in 2009 due to intoxication of prescription drugs. This may be the day the world physically lost this icon, but I never saw him completely return after he was rushed to the hospital in 1984. That event seemed to take away his original presentation. 

It’s been said MJ suffered second and third-degree burns in 1984 after his hair caught fire during the filming of an advertisement for Pepsi. He dealt with massive hair loss as a result, and he later became addicted to prescription painkillers AFTER undergoing reconstructive surgery on his scalp.?

We never got to see what he really looked like afterward. He always wore wigs. Add to that his skin disease and facial alterations and I doubt we have a clue what he really looked like since being released from Cedars-Sinai Hospital in 1984. I missed Michael Jackson before he died. ?
