Memorial AME Zion Church Hosting Food Drive

Memorial AME Zion Church is hosting its first holiday food drive this season. The church is collecting non-perishable holiday foods that will be used for holiday baskets. The community can to drop off the items they buy on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 549 Clarissa St.

Beyond the Sanctuary is looking for non-perishable items including gravy in cans or jars, canned cranberry sauce, boxed potatoes, applesauce, canned fruit and vegetables including potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, and green beans, marshmallows, cake mix and frosting, muffin and bread mix, stuffing mix, canned or boxed broth, ready-to-bake pie crusts and canned pie filling, canned soup, macaroni and cheese kits and rice.
