Meghan Thee Stallion Cancels AMA Performance

Last night, Meghan Thee Stallion was set to take the American Music Awards, but the day before her performance, Meghan had to cancel due to an “unexpected personal matter.” Meghan took to Twitter to share to her fans that she will not be in attendance:
Hotties I was so excited to go to the @AMAs and perform with @BTS_official, but due to an unexpected personal matter, I can no longer attend 😭😭I’m so sad! I really can’t wait to hit the stage with my guys and perform #BTS_Butter real soon!💜

While it has not been confirmed as to why she canceled her appearance, their speculation is that she is mourning the loss of the late Young Dolph, who tragically lost his life this past Wednesday. When hearing of the passing, Meghan shared her feelings to Instagram and Twitter, stating: “I am sooo sick rn I am in disbelief! Rest In Peace to my friend a true legend Dolph. Everybody that knows me knows I play this man’s music EVERY DAY !”
