McDonald’s Agreed To Pay Over $33 Million To Black Franchise Owner

Herb Washington who’s a black franchise owner of over a dozen McDonald’s in Ohio, Pennsylvania and several here in Rochester Has just settled a discrimination lawsuit for $33.5 million. The lawsuit claims The company set Herb Washington up for failure by placing his McDonald’s restaurants in lower income neighborhoods because he’s black. There were over 50 other black McDonald’s franchise owners that made the same complaint like Herb Washington. Herb Washington who’s a former MLB player filed the lawsuit last February.
