Mayor Malik Evans Hosts Teen Town Hall

Last night, Rochester Mayor Malik Evans hosted a virtual teen town hall event. The goal of the teen town hall was to learn how the city can support its young people while listening to what they care about and what changes they want to see. Joining the conversation alongside Mayor Evans was NFL Super Bowl champion Roland Williams, Dr. Shirley Green, and Schoolboard Commissioner Camille Simmons.
Mayor Evans spoke on the event, stating: “I think it’s important for young people to know, you don’t have to wait until your 50 or 60-years-old to make an impact in this community, you can make an impact in this community now – and that’s what I’m expecting of you, what all the people on this call are expecting of you and that is what Rochester us expecting of you.”
