Mayor-Elect Malik Evans Announces Incoming Staff

Mayor-elect Malik Evans is set to take office on January 1st, 2022 and in preparation for his arrival, Evans has announced more staff appointments. According to Evans, former Rochester City Councilman Dana Miller has been named commissioner of neighborhood and business development and Erik Frisch has been named deputy commissioner of neighborhood and business development.

As for other roles, some are able to continue in their position. This includes Patricia Uttaro as the director of the Monroe County Library System and Rochester Public Library and Timothy Weir as director of the city’s office of public integrity. Over the past five years, Teresa Everett has served as the deputy chief of training with the Rochester Fire Department. Everett will now become its executive deputy chief.
