Mass Shooting In Florida Nightclub
Police are calling it a mass casualty shooting: after 50 people were found dead and 53 injured at a Florida night club. Pulse, a gay night club in downtown Orlando, was like a scene out of a movie according to witnesses. Early Sunday morning an unknown gunman held club goers hostage while firing 20 to 30 rounds into the crowd.
When police arrived gunfire was exchanged between them and the assailant leaving him dead at the scene. Motives and word on whether or not the killer had an assistant is still in question. The possibility of this tragedy being a terrorist attack is still under investigation.
