As November draws near, many prolific singers and artists have lended their voices to encourage all those who feel like the country has left them behind to come together and cast their vote in the name of change.
Grammy winning singer, Mary J. Blige is leading that charge by aligning herself with IWillVote.com for a new ad campaign that highlights the pros of early voting.
“We can vote. We can vote for our future. We can vote for our children’s future. This year our votes can and must be our voice,” said Blige. “It’s the only way to make sure we get the change we’re looking for…better jobs, better education, healthcare and criminal justice reform.”
Her commercial will air on TV, digital outlets and the radio, with a heavier presence in North Carolina where early voting has just begun.
