Man Robs Bank Then Does TV Interview

Here’s a dumb criminal who should’ve just been legit from the start and got a job. Three years later and I still can’t believe this happened.
A Georgia man by the name of Eric Rivers was suspected of robbing several banks in the city of Lawrenceville according to police.
Lawrenceville police say Mr. Rivers had a better chance of getting away with robbing the banks if he didn’t do the unthinkable that led to his arrest.
According to reports, Mr. Rivers agreed to do an on camera interview with a local news station about public transportation right after robbing a Chase bank. Police also believe he was in the middle of scoping out other banks in the area.
The bank teller was able to identify Mr. Rivers after seeing him on TV doing the interview with the news station. After police did their investigation surveillance video showed that Mr. Rivers had the same clothes on in his TV interview.
Police were able to locate Mr. Rivers and he was taken into custody.
