HBO’s Lovecraft Country developer Misha Green is is set to write and direct MGM’s upcoming Tomb Raider sequel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is Green’s first feature directing job.

Franchise star Alicia Vikander will return for the film as the titular explorer Lara Croft. Vikander also portrayed the lead role in 2018’s Tomb Raider, directed by Roar Uthaug.
