Livingston County sheriffs are trying to figure out if the human remains that were found over the weekend belong to a wanted fugitive named David Clyde Morgan who’s been missing since the mid summer of 2018.

Morgan who’s been on the run from police in North Carolina has ties to the Livingston county area and was seen fleeing from Sheriff’s deputies during a traffic stop, dashcam footage shows Morgan pointing a object that looks like a gun at law enforcement, he ran into a wooded area and was never seen again.
A hunter who had been searching for a deer stumbled across skeletal remains and Sheriff’s deputies strongly believe those remains belong to David Clyde Morgan From some of the evidence that was collected from that area. They can’t 100% confirm that it’s him so they have to wait for DNA testing and dental records to make a positive identification.
