We are saddened to report the Father of Rock the songwriter, pianist, and singer of hits like “Tutti Frutti,” “Long Tall Sally,” “Rip It Up,” “Lucille,” and “Good Golly Miss Molly” Little Richard has passed away, as confirmed by his son Danny Jones Penniman to Rolling Stone.
He was a pioneer of Rock and Roll that but was often overlooked by mainstream outlets. The architect of Rock and Roll, his groundbreaking music and flamboyant style inspired many artists throughout the years. May he rest in peace! Thank you for the music <3
