Lil Nas X has had a busy year of controversy. His last single ‘Call Me By Your Name (Montero),’ music video created a general backlash, which didn’t stop him. The artist collaborated with the streetwear company MSCHF for the modified dupe of the Nike Air Max 97s and decorated it with a pentagram pendant. The shoes also featured Bible verse Luke 10:18 which describes Satan’s fall from heaven. A drop of human blood, drawn from members of the MSCHF team, was also reportedly sealed in the sneakers’ soles. These were Lil Nas X’s ‘Satan’ shoes. Regardless of all this, Lil Nas X continues to create by mocking his viral shoe controversy in a new skit to promote his upcoming single “Industry Baby” featuring Jack Harlow.
“Industry Baby” is scheduled to be released tomorrow, July 23.
